Lots of people who have Quincy collies keep in touch and many send me photos of their much loved collies.  I love receiving the updates and the photos and I want to encourage everyone to continue to do that.  It's important to me to know that they are loved and well cared for and living wonderful lives.

This page is a place where I can post the photos I receive along with a short comment from the proud owners.  So, please, if you have  a Quincy collie, send me your favorite photo and I will post it here!

Send your photos to quincycollies@yahoo.com.    You can include your name and city/state if you want and a short comment about what you love about your collie.

- rHi, my name is Krista and I would like to introduce you to my handsome collie Duffy who just turned 2 on April 20th.  I have known Joyce for over 10 years and have shared my life with 2 other collies that came from Quincy Collies. Duffy brings such joy to my life, as did my other two. He has such a sweet, calm temperament and is very smart. I have been very fortunate to be able to bring Duffy to work with me every day since he was 8 weeks old which has offered him continued socialization which is critical in creating a balanced dog. My last collie was a certified therapy dog and my goal is to have Duffy certified as well. He has such a loving, gentle nature while also having a funny sense of humor. Duffy is a very happy little guy and is just as content riding in the car as he is fetching his toys, being groomed or snuggling down on the ottoman. His sweet little face and wonderful nature bring so much happiness into my life. He does something cute and/or funny each and every day. Typical of the collie nature, he is never far from my side and is always ready for our next adventure together. Collies are truly the most amazing breed! Thank you Joyce for breeding quality puppies!

I've attached a photo of Rumney, born 6/27/00 out of Ch. Quincy Shephard Moons and Quincy True Colors.  We now live on a 10 acre farm outside of Dallas, TX where he oversees the horses along with a rescue collie, a Great Pyrenees and a cat.  That is, when he's not sleeping on the couch.

Noodles – Stephanie

Here's Noodles the love of my life!  He makes us smile or laugh every single day.  He is a cryptic merle , Mordachi x Ariel born June 30, 2006 and lives on Martha's Vineyard.  He is known as the collie ambassador since we walk him to the tourist area every day & his favorite pastime is to meet new people and convince them how friendly and wonderful the collie dog is.  People always comment on how sweet he is & how beautiful his marking are.  Some have told us that he is the most beautiful collie they have ever seen!  Many ask to photograph him.

Here is my Kailee, she would be Noodles sister.  Kailee also just met her half sister, Elsa owned by Kim at BlueDog.  Kailee is a bit of a couch potatoe.  She goes to day care where she loves all the little dogs.  Her dog Nannies tell me she is great with them and very gentle and one of the sweetest dogs they have there.  She loves to be outside.  She likes to go for walks and is a bit of a slow poke especially on the way home.  I should have named her Pokey!  She is very smart and has beuatiful coat.  She always receives comments on how pretty she is.   Kailee is my first female and my first tri-color.  I have had three sable males.  All four being born in NH.

Mollie, the sable, (Ch Sealore's Just One Night x Quincy Mountain Laurel)  and is a littermate to Mordecai.  She's a real sweetheart and spoiled rotten by my husband.  She competes in Rally Obedience and received her first leg in Advanced, however, she would much rather spend the day sleeping under his desk in the office.   We bought Jack, a tri, (Ch Quincy Mordicai x Quincy Sweet Desiree) when my daughter was looking at his littermate.  I fell in love with him and it took me 3 weeks to convince my husband we just had to have him.  He is the sweetest collie I've ever owned and everyone is his friend.  He also competes in Rally and just finished his 3rd leg in Novice.  Both Mollie and Jack have received their Canine Good Citizen and I plan to train them to be certified therapy dogs. Mollie and Jack"s favorite place is our house on Bow Lake.  They love lying on the dock and Mollie can't wait for a boat ride, she sits on the bow and loves having the wind blow on her face. Both collies are wonderful, devoted family members and I look forward to buying another Quincy puppy someday.

Suri has settled in very fast as you can see from the pic.    I lost my chair again. She is so smart, shes already started barking to go outside.  Riding in the car is coming along too, we take her for a ride every day and each day she does a little better.

The cat is also coming along slow but sure he is coming out more and more and we’ve got her so she doesn’t chase him to much.
